Equality MaineSupports LGBTQ+ youth and their families and allies with specialized programs, empowers queer youth through special events, supports Gay-Straight-Trans Alliance (GSTA) clubs, and educates behavioral and physical health care providers, educators, clergy and other professionals.
Out MaineProvides peer-to-peer support groups, social and community events, and advocacy for the transgender community across Maine, as well as training for medical, mental health, and social service providers.
Maine Trans NetworkRecruits LGBTQIA+ specialists and educators, hosts Maine's largest comprehensive resource directory by and for LGBTQIA+ people featuring 250+ resources, and hosts at least two nature-based LGBTQIA+ programs per county annually.
Queerly MEProvides telehealth and in-person medical services, including gender-affirming care, HIV services, and STD testing and treatment.
Planned Parenthood TopshamLegal support for youth that are being bullied because of their sexual orientation, gender, or gender expression, as well as for transgender students and Gay Straight Alliances (GSAs).
Kids LegalOffers no-cost, whole-person primary care medical, dental, vision, and mental health services to uninsured adults ages 18 – 64 in Midcoast Maine.
Oasis Free ClinicsMaineCare provides free and low-cost health insurance to Mainers who meet certain requirements, based on household composition and income. There are also additional options for people with disabilities and certain health conditions, young adults who have been in foster care, and those who need long-term care services (nursing facility, residential care, etc.).
